The Jazz have made some clever offseason moves to a roster that needed revamping.
Adding point guard George Hill from the Indiana Pacers will add a scoring threat and more creativity to a roster which was craving a star guard last year.
Gordon Hayward is peaking and the Jazz know that he can score from anywhere – he is a threat from three, inside and midrange.
Their draft pick at number 12 was traded as part of the deal to bring Hill into the side. They also traded their 42nd pick to the Nets who would return the number 55 pick and ‘cash’.
At 55 the Jazz took guard Marcus Paige who will be stashed.
As well as adding Hill the Jazz added veteran Joe Johnson to add some leadership to their fairly young roster.
The Jazz ditched some heavy contracts ahead of another summer full of exciting free agents.
Watch out for – Dante Exum – creative guard
The Jazz look a threat on both ends. Gobert, Favours and Haywood are all looking like all-star candidates for the coming year.
